Settings — flowcy.dev Docs

Settings

The Settings page is where you control everything about how flowcy.dev behaves on your account. It has four sub-tabs.

Agent Prompts

The default landing tab. You can write a custom system prompt that's prepended to every AI agent run on your account. Use this to:

Set a tone or voice ("Always reply professionally and avoid emoji.").
Encode house rules ("Never apply the wontfix label without prompting first.").
Provide context the agent doesn't have from the repo itself ("We use the release/* branches as our long-lived release lines.").

Changes save when you click Save. The next agent session uses the new prompt.

Automation

Toggle individual automations on or off for your account. Each feature is enabled by default; turning one off means the agent will skip that step on future events.

Feature	What it does
Issue Labeling	Apply labels to new issues based on title/body.
Issue-to-Project Linking	Add new issues to your first GitHub Project (v2).
PR Title Validation	Rewrite PR titles to follow Conventional Commits.
PR Labeling	Apply labels to new PRs based on changes.
PR-to-Issue Linking	Auto-link PRs to related issues using semantic search. Threshold is configurable (default 60%).
Project Field Population	Auto-fill project board fields (Status, Priority, Type, etc.).
Auto Sub-Issue Creation	Suggest splitting large issues into sub-issues.
Large File Detection	Warn on PRs that include files above a configurable size.
Mock Detection	AI-powered scan for placeholder/mock code in PRs.

Changes auto-save a couple of seconds after you stop interacting; a toast confirms.

Generate API tokens for programmatic access to flowcy.dev's REST API (e.g. for CI scripts that upload docs or trigger releases). Tokens are shown once at creation time — copy them somewhere safe immediately.

You can revoke a token at any time. Revoking takes effect on the next request.

GitHub MCP server

The Access Tokens page also generates a connection URL for the read-only GitHub MCP server at /api/mcp/github/mcp. It exposes three tools:

query_issues filters issues by repository, author, state, creation time, and update time.
query_pull_requests provides the same filters for open, closed, or merged pull requests.
query_actions filters workflow runs by repository, triggering user, status, conclusion, and start time.

Grant only the token resources the client needs: issues:read, pull-requests:read, and/or actions:read. Each scope can use :all or a comma-separated list of GitHub repository IDs. The generated URL can narrow the token further with repeated resources and scopes=owner/repo parameters. Linked child repositories are included when their parent is selected, but the connection can never expand beyond the token or the user's current GitHub App installations.

Results come from webhook data stored by flowcy.dev, so queries are fast and do not consume GitHub API rate limit. History starts when the GitHub App begins receiving events for a repository.

Billing

Manage your subscription:

See your current tier (Free or Plus) and what each includes.
View this billing period's session usage against your quota (50/month free, 1000/month Plus).
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel — all handled inline through Stripe.
See your payment history and download invoices.

If you hit your session quota mid-cycle, automations pause but flowcy.dev doesn't lose state — you can upgrade and have everything resume immediately.
